ACTIMAGE (www.actimage.com), established in 1995, is an SME specialising in IT consulting. It has offices in Luxembourg, France (Paris and Strasbourg) and Germany (Kehl). ACTIMAGE employs approximately one hundred persons, specialising in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

At ACTIMAGE, we conduct research, audit and provide consulting services in software engineering, multimedia creation, infrastructures security, and IT training. Part of our activities focus on R&D efforts, mostly dedicated to innovative software and networks solutions, mobility and technological convergence.

In line with our growth strategy and to consolidate our R&D activities, we are looking for a senior R&D consultant to work on European innovative projects.

YOUR ROLE
You will join our European innovative project team based in Luxembourg, to play an active role in our projects covering different policy domains. Your main activities will include:
• Identifying R&D and Innovation funding opportunities at EU level
• Networking activities at European level: identifying and liaising with partners for joint research programs, promoting projects to the European institutions, etc.
• Contributing to the conception of projects and preparing R&D project proposals for European funding schemes (FP7, CIP, AAL, EUREKA, INTERREG, etc…)

YOUR PROFILE
• You hold a university (and possibly also a relevant postgraduate) degree, preferably in ICT related subjects, Economics or management science,
• You have some professional experience in a technical position
• You are conversant with methodologies and new technologies;
• You are familiar with the different stages of a project life cycle;
• You communicate fluently in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of another European language is considered an advantage
• Knowledge of EU level funding opportunities as well as the workings of EU institutions is an advantage
• You can demonstrate a keen interest in ICT issues
• Experience/ knowledge in Information Society related topics is an advantage
• You are open-minded, creative, enthusiastic and flexible.
• You have commercial flair and are a natural team player.
